DIY Garland Display for Lists and Photos
This guide will show you how to make and assemble a list organizer that doubles as a photo display! It's great for organizing your ideas and to-do list, and it looks super cute too!
The supplies that you will need are:
- 2 pads of sticky notes (3"x3")
- an index card or piece of card stock, trimmed to 3"x3"
- 2 photographs
- 5 small binder clips or clothespins
- 2 feet of yarn or string
- a Tombow Fude pen or black fine line pen
- 2 Tombow brush pens in colors that match the sticky notes
- a pair of scissors
The first step is creating your to-do lists with the sticky note notepads.
This is really personalize-able, so you can make whatever lists you want or think you need. I chose to write
"Reminders" and "Goals" with my Tombow Fude and then add three bullet points.
Next, write or print out a quote for the centerpiece. This can be any inspirational, funny, or cute saying!
I wrote "dream big, work hard" with my Tombow Fude on the 3"x3" index card.
Cut out two photographs into 3"x3" squares. I printed out some of my travel photos, but you can use anything you'd like.
Tip: Use a sticky note as a template by sticking it onto the photograph and cutting around it.
Then you'll have a perfect square!
The final step is to assemble everything!
Arrange them in the order of - List, Photo, Quote, Photo, List
Clip each of them with a mini binder clip or clothespin, and thread your string through all 5.
And you're done! Now you can hang this cute garland onto your wall to display your photos and reminders!
